GoodBye One Last Time

As some of you may or may not know, I've never been good with public speaking, and despite how outspoken and blunt I can be, today I still can't find the words to share.

With that said there's no way I could get up in front of my peers, and the family and friends of a friend to share some words about who he was last night. But since writing has always been my best way of communication that's how I am choosing to say goodbye to a friend one last time.

A friend of ours (BXL, other friends from the neighborhood) was gunned down and hit with 8 bullets back in the summer time. The assailants objective was without a doubt to kill him. But my friend was blessed with the mercy of God and survived only to make a slight recovery and be stabbed to death a few months later.

My friend wasn't a saint, in fact none of us alive are, but despite that fact, no one alive deserves to meet their demise at the hands of another human being, which is what happened to him. Despite so many things in our lives, we fail to realize how much we mean to so many people. All it takes is for someone to take the life of another to take away a piece of so many more people. In killing that one person, you've killed someone's parent, someone's child, someone's sibling, someone's cousin, grandchild, aunt or uncle, someone's friend, and the list can go on forever. I've realized today how 24 years can be a long time for many things, but can be so short for a persons life. I feel that no parent should ever have to bury their child, and yet again, I've witnessed that very event taking place.

As I walked into the funeral home last night I passed many familiar faces... but these familiar faces all displayed un familiar emotions. People that I had never seen shed tears were short of breah from crying with blood shot red eyes. To hear a mother scream in Spanish "Lord why did you take my son? Lord why?" hurt my heart and reminded me of other mothers in my own family that had lost their children. Death is never easy and of course I assume that explains why I despise funerals, but of course I feel my respect to my friend is due. When I walked up to his casket the first time I looked at him in complete dis belief, i didn't know how to feel, i just know that my depression, anger and sadness consumed me. Our friends, his family all around me crying and trying not to shed tear only made me cry. A few people had been asking me details of the event during the past week and I answered to them all the same way: "It doesn't matter, my friend is gone and how it happened won't change that"

I could say more but I feel I've shared enough, so with a very heavy heart I say goodbye one last time.

So To Ronnie Garcia (Better know to us as Ron G) R.I.P brother, you will be missed and never forgotten.

The Asshole is Here!

Disclaimer: This one aint pretty!

I find it hilarious how quickly people forget. they forget who was there for them in times of need, forget who had their backs, forget who picked them up when they were down, forget who their real friends are... For a While now I been saying that I'm gonna start being an asshole and start cuttin people off and I've yet to do so. Call me Kind Hearted, but I'll tell you this when (what's left of) the little light in my chest goes out you better stand clear. I'm about to be on some next level ish and if your on my "S*&t List" you've lost me forever.

My kindness has been taken for weakness one too many times. People forget that no matter how tough my skin is, I'm human, I have feelings too, just because I don't wear my emotions on my sleeves doesn't mean that certain things ESPECIALLY from certain people won't get to me. I'm human B! theres only so much I can take.... So that's why in situations like this I cut people off, why? So that you never again have the opportunity to hurt me. Trust me I've cut people off before and just like that a friendship sinks to the bottom of the sea, and I emerge from it all without ever looking back even once. As we speak a 7 year friendship is at stake and the friend on trial has one chance to correct his/her actions.... if he or she doesn't then bye bye! You wanna know why? The world doesn't deserve a man like me; and I say that with all the confidence and with the biggest balls the planet has ever seen. Because I'm so kind hearted, and because I'm not violent, and because I let the world be I've realized I am not deserved, cause I damn sure aint appreciated. I'm honest, I'm genuine and I've realized I am a diamond in a world full of garbage and waste! And why the fuck should I be all those things if no one cares enough to return the courtesy?

Once you start cursing me out over something that aint that serious in the first place is the moment where you have disrespected me and will probably stop at nothing to continue your vendetta. Take that shit somewhere else Homie! I've said my piece, every year people say they gonna do this and do that, I don't make resolutions because I'm not the type to talk about something that I may or may not do, but I can guarantee you I take action. Find out which one of my list you wanna be on. You've awoken the beast that I so desperately try to keep in deep slumber. With that said I'm out!

Stay Up!

A Song

I was on the train headed downtown and forgot my iPod, but you know I'm a music fiend so I got my headphones plugged them into my phone and as one of my songs played this poem came to my head.
---------------------

A song is by far the greatest example of 'Turning Nothing into Something'

What was once nothing more than thin air turns into a sound, a sound followed by more sounds creates a composition. Then words, lyrics and melodies are added and in the end we are left with Music.

Something with the natural un forceful ability to make the people of the world, cry, laugh, dance, and sing.
And that's why I love music so much.
Beautiful isn't she?

On the Grind

What's going on everyone? My cousin Brian was in town for the holidays from Atlanta. It goes without saying that he brought his Skate Board along with him, as he has been doing for the better portion of a decade now...
Along side him was my brothers best and oldest friend JC who is also a skater. JC and Brian have been good friends as well for quite some time so whenever they meet up you can expect to hear skateboard wheels cruising over the pavement.

Well I've been dieing to take some live action Pics of skaters and BMX riders for some time now so with both JC and Brian being in my house the other day I saw the opportunity and grabbed it.

That day I made an observation and mentioned that Skate Boarders aren't much Different than Photographers in the sense that they see the world around them differently than the average person. But enough talking I wanted to share some pics with you guys from that day.

^ My cuz Brian ^

^ My lil Homie JC ^

I'm proud of the images I captured and I hope you guys like em... The pictures speak for themselves so I decided not to put captions under them. Like I said Hope Ya enjoy and keep grindin. And as always I wanna thank ya'll for allowing to share my passion with you.

Taboo

I'm back to rant and rave folks. please bare with me.
So I was watching one of my favorite shows today "EveryBody Loves Raymond" and it was an episode where Robert, one of the main characters finds out he was born out of wedlock. In the episode he was devastated to find out, and it instantly triggered the question in my head: "Why?" It reminded me that my little brother, more than half of the people that I know including myself were born out of wedlock. is that really all that bad?

It didn't end there though I began thinking of other Taboos, like tattoos, and lack of college degrees, I was left wondering, "Why do we care so much about what people may say about us, about how society may view us? Why do we follow unwritten rules who have little to no consequence if and when broken?"

Let's start lightly with:

Tattoos-

Most of the older narrow minded people in my family look at my tattoos and automatically think negative. Often they ask me: "how you gonna go back to Honduras? They are gonna think you are a gang member, they'll kill you"
So it reminds me of the stigma that Tattoos are indications that he who wears them is a criminal or a dangerous person. I suppose its not professional and is only seen in a negative light. Well to all those people I say look at this Doctor and this Lawyer who are featured on a site trying to bring forth a more positive reputation to Tattoos and those who wear them. Now as for it being something for criminals I highly disagree because a crime is not defined by a persons physical appearance. I.E. I'm willing to bet that Bernie Madoff has not one tattoo on all his body but by definition he is a criminal and is serving a sentence in prison given to him by OUR justice system. Am I right or am I right? You see I personally feel that a tattoo is nothing more than a great piece of expression by both the person who applied it and the person who wears it. It is a production of something beautiful and extraordinary, in other words it is ART.

College Degree-
Imma try to get straight to the point with this one cause I could literally go on for days on this topic. Let's start with the fact that 60% of college grads end up working in a field other than the one that they studied and got a degree in... Are you effin serious? More than half of em go off and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to receive that lil piece of paper that tells employers "the person before you WENT to school" and the even they don't hire the former student? Git the eff outta here. and notice I said "WENT" to school because that's all a diploma tells you, that a person went to school, who knows if they learned anything.
My second point, many college grads that I know lack common sense and or fail to think logically about things despite how simple those things are.
Aside from all that judging from what I've grown to see: Most of the people who are successful in our society are not educated passed High School, some don't even make it that far. Example you ask? My favorite rapper of all time Jay-Z he didn't go to college, and look how well he turned out, a favorite amongst the masses and a wealthy business man richer than any Doctor I can think of. I'm sure your thinking: "How typical that this ngga would mention a rapper" and your probably right but it doesnt end with Mr. Jay-Z, what about Bill Gates? As you may or may not know he didn't go to college either, and I'm well aware we all know how filthy stinking rich he is. I mean without Bill Gates I could not be publishing this very collection of words to you, who is reading it somewhere in a completely different location on our planet.

Please don't misunderstand my state of mind or my words. I'm all for education and feel a mind is a terrible thing to waste, I just feel that school is not the answer to EVERYTHING. I feel most college grads were brainwashed to believe that they HAD to go to college and get a degree so that they can get a great job and live well. You want proof that its all BS? Fine, tell whoever is asking for your student loans "Oh but I got my Diploma, is my earned and well deserved education not payment enough for you?" See if they don't laugh in your face and send you to collections. You see if the purpose of "getting my education" is to learn to be a Doctor who save lives, only to make $80,000 a year, then I'd rather save the time, money, and energy that it takes to do so, pick up a microphone and try my luck at being a rapper who makes well over $80,000 in just one night. Call me ignorant if you want but you know deep down you don't want to be up til 4am writing a paper that a professor doesn't truly care about. But I'm done with this topic.

I say all that to say this: "Life is what you make it, you don't HAVE to go to college if you don't want to, but at least if your going to do it, do it for yourself, not to make anyone else happy and not because you've been brainwashed to believe that it will solve any of your problems. ESPECIALLY the financial problems.

Don't be so weak to fall for society's un written rules, what one says about you doesn't make you stronger, weaker, taller, shorter, smarter, dumber, richer or poorer than what you already are. The people who follow these rules are the people who are scared to be who they are, those who have been led to believe that the way society says things should be is the standard that they have to live up to. Don't fear being seen in a different light, we weren't put on this Earth to all be the same person. If you want tattoos, cover your body in them, or just have one!

DO WHAT YOU LIKE, RAISE A MIDDLE FINGER TO SOCIETY AND BE WHO YOU ARE, BE WHO YOU WANT TO BE"

With that said, go out and Challenge the norm, and please

Middle Finger to Society

While talking to my home girl last night (whom I speak with each day) the topic of my drivers License came about. It all started when she asked if I had one and before you knew it I was pleading my case as to why I refuse to get one at the moment. Pull up a seat, its gonna be a good one:

Stephanie Marie:
Because my boy is manager of a Best Buy and they need workers but its in Westchester
Eno Bull: Oh that would be dope.
Stephanie Marie: Yeah but you don't drive!!!
Eno Bull: My pops would let me use his car if I had a license.
Stephanie Marie: Soo stop beinq lazy and get your license
Eno Bull: Nah man. Imma go for as long as I can without it.
Eno Bull: Lol.
Eno Bull: That's my middle finger to Society.
Stephanie Marie: Lmao ay Jesus
Eno Bull: I don't even Believe in I.D.'s I got mine cause you know... feel me. But you yea...
Stephanie Marie: I can't front I didn't have an I.D. for a lonqq time
Stephanie Marie: Lol
Eno Bull: Yea. My Permit has been expired for a whole year.
Eno Bull: It still says Under 21.
Eno Bull: But MIDDLE FINGER to society.
Eno Bull: I'll get a license when I get a car and even then imma drive around illegally for a lil while.
Eno Bull: Til then I'm "Mr. What the fuck you need my I.D. For, my word should be a good enough indicator as to who I am"
Stephanie Marie: Lmao that's the I.D. you use?
Eno Bull: Yea.
Stephanie Marie: Lmao
Eno Bull: I still get into clubs and all that.
Stephanie Marie: Lmao I like that
Eno Bull: Yea.
Stephanie Marie: Lmao
Stephanie Marie: But whyy?
Eno Bull: Oh boy, you really wanna open those flood gates? Lol.
Stephanie Marie: Lmao yesh
Eno Bull: I will go in on WHY, for a few paragraphs.
Stephanie Marie: Go aheadd!
Stephanie Marie: I asked for a reason
Eno Bull: Yes!
Eno Bull: Ok, pull up a seat.
Stephanie Marie: I'm layinq down
Eno Bull: Aight so its like this:
Eno Bull: We live in a world (a country) where we are not viewed as individuals, we are not seen as human beings with unique minds, and feelings and emotion.
Eno Bull: We're not seen as logical creatures with the ability to do great things.
Eno Bull: We are seen as nothing more than numbers in a system.
Eno Bull: This country is not a beautiful rose that blooms, its a machine and we are not the drops of water that feed that rose, we are the parts that keep it moving.
Stephanie Marie: OMG that sounded like a book!! And its sooooo true
Eno Bull: So since birth everything is based on paper.
Eno Bull: Birth Certificate, Social Security Cards, so on and so forth.
Eno Bull: Yea.
Eno Bull: My question is: "Why?"
Eno Bull: I'll tell you why.
Eno Bull: Control! There is no such thing as Freedom in this country. That's just a pacifier they give us to make us feel like we are in a great country.
Eno Bull: You don't believe me? Go into any public building drop your pants and take a piss, and tell me if they won't try to hang you.
Stephanie Marie: That's true
Stephanie Marie: Freedom is just the image they give you but it isn't true
Eno Bull: Right, so an I.D. Card is just a compact version of my Passport, Birth Certificate, and SSC, so wtf I need an I.D. card for.
Eno Bull: A cop stops me and asks me my name all I gotta do is tell him and there goes my whole life in his computer.
Eno Bull: The schools I've went to, the jobs I've had and even the people in my life.
Eno Bull: I'm not comfortable with that.
Eno Bull: That's NOT freedom.
Eno Bull: Freedom is me being able to tell you, "My name is Eno Gutierrez, son of Such and Such" and you let me go without having to know any more about me than I'm willing to share.
Stephanie Marie: That makes sense
Eno Bull: Right, which leads me to part II of my rant.

PART II-
Eno Bull: We've come to a point in time where a man's word no longer means anything. See if the rest of the world was as honest as me there would be a lot less problems.
Stephanie Marie: That's true a mans word isn't shit anymore
Stephanie Marie: Everythinq is "I need it in writinq"
Eno Bull: Right so you see I can't tell you "Yes, I did graduate High School" without you needing to see a piece of Paper.
Eno Bull: They call it a Diploma. So that Paper which I could have paid for, for all you know is what determines I went to school? Why not just ask me some math problems and some historic facts?
Eno Bull: So its the same with an I.D.
Eno Bull: Why can't you just understand my words when I say "I was born on the 14th afternoon in August in 1987. I stand before you a 22 year and 3 month old man.
Eno Bull: Nah, that's not valid, my word means nuttin. You need a piece of Cardboard as proof
Stephanie Marie: I never thought about it in this way
Eno Bull: On this planet a mans word once held weight now, its only the things men have given value too. Birth Cerificates, SSC's, Passports, I.D. and even Money.
Stephanie Marie: And it makes sense ; & its true you can buy a diploma and not kno jack shit
Eno Bull: All those things WE gave value too.
Eno Bull: To*
Eno Bull: Right.
Eno Bull: So that's why I'm anti I.D. Cards.
Eno Bull: Unfortunately I know I have to get my license some day but you don't need a license to know how to drive a car and so I drive without one.
Stephanie Marie: That's true but if you get stopped you gottah deal with it
Stephanie Marie: Its always a risk
Eno Bull: I'll pay the consequences if ever I'm caught, but til then I'm the one who goes against the grain.
Eno Bull: I know.
Eno Bull: You right, but I don't drive often, every once in a while I go for a joy ride but I'm just sayin.
Stephanie Marie: Yeah I feel you
Stephanie Marie: You just put a million thoughts in my head because I never thought of the whole I.D. thinq like that
Eno Bull: So I guees deep down I'm just a Hippy, but this is how I think.
Eno Bull: Yea.
Stephanie Marie: Lol I think you have the soul of a hippy
Eno Bull: Yea I do.
Eno Bull: Trust me, these are the things I think of.
Eno Bull: You wouldn't think of it just by lookin at me.
Stephanie Marie: Nope; you look like the typical nigga (no offense)
Eno Bull: None taken, I know, I see that nigga in the mirror every mornin, but the nigga lookin back at me sees a scholar.
Eno Bull: Write that one down lol.
Stephanie Marie: AAAOOOWWWW
Stephanie Marie: I'm soo quotinq that lmao
Eno Bull: Lmao.
Eno Bull: Me too I aint gonna front I like that.
Stephanie Marie: Lol
Eno Bull: Lmao. Hmmm. You spanish you good.
Stephanie Marie: Lmaoo your spanish too sucio

So there you have it, the reason I've yet to get my New York State Driver's License
Til I do have it, you remember to

I don't usually do this folks, as most of you already know. But tonight I was having a deep conversation with a good friend and I said something that I want to immortalize in a quote, so here it goes:

"EVERY MORNING I LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND SEE A "NIGGA" , BUT THAT "NIGGA" LOOKS BACK AND SEE'S A SCHOLAR" - ENO BULL

Bitches and Women (Bitches Be Whack)

Aight everyone, welcome back to the classroom known as my blog, Tha Bull Pen. Please grab a seat and prepare to begin.

Today's Lesson is "Bitches and Women"
I see some of the ladies in the class giving me awkward stares: "Don't worry ladies, I'll explain myself" lol

Now, the term 'Bitch', most commonly used amongst dog breeders is defined as: A female canine (a dog.) I'm sure many will be surprised to learn as was I when I first found out that: It's original use as a vulgarism, documented to the fourteenth century, suggested high sexual desire in a woman, comparable to a bitch ( a female dog) in heat.

So moving right along we see that it has been used centuries before we ever said it the first time. But does it mean the same today? This is where our discussion begins.

Today in the year 2009 the word bitch is used for all but a female dog, usually used by men towards women. The age old question is why. For example if any one of the young men here today said to one of the young ladies "Hey Bitch, can I borrow a pen?" that young lady would all but have her head spin on her neck. But if that same young lady was talking to a friend of hers , it would be perfectly acceptable for her friend to say: "Bitch, you crazy" now wouldn't it?

You see, like most other words and phrases it's not what you say but how you say it. But I digress. The reason for this topic today was to explain to the women in the room the difference between women and bitches.

Women:
A woman is the giver of life, a majestic and beautiful creature put here to direct the people of this world towards greatness. A woman is a Grand Mother, a Mother, a Daughter, An Aunt, a Sister, a Great friend. One who gives and understands that to get respect it must first be given. One who is well aware of her self worth and walks with her head high with no time to stop on her way to her destination. Whether that destination is success, happiness, or just the corner store, she knows not to be lead astray.
A perfect example of a Woman: *She has her own but understands that a man may still want to give to her because she deserves it and wants to do for her. A woman doesn't throw her independence in any one's face

now a

Bitch:
Hmmmm... now a bitch is a Female, but not a woman, not even a lady. A bitch is a female who is unrefined, often out to get what she wants by way of less than favorable behavior, sexual favors and all other low forms of acting. A bitch is a female who gets no respect from others because she herself has no self respect. Did I lose you? See a bitch wants to see everyone, especially men and women as unhappy as she is. She doesn't care for others even those who may actually car for her. A bitch does unexplainable things for reasons that she herself does not understand.
A perfect example of a Bitch: *She get pregnant by a man who she doesn't even like very much, but she knows that his financial security is strong, and she wants that same security but she does not want to work as hard as that man to get it for herself. And once she has had that man's child and he leaves for whatever reason she uses HER child as a tool to get back at the man. Crazy Bitches!

So you see ladies, If a man calls you a bitch it is quite possible that he is just using that word out of context BUT there is always a possibility that you are indeed behaving like or just being a bitch. Take what I've taught you here today and learn from it. Apply it to your everyday life, and for ALL the females, be a Woman, not a Bitch.

Okay, class dismissed. Remember to always

27Th World Series Champions

What's goin on Bull Penners....

I'm gonna keep this one brief: My lil brother would probably look at money funny if I sat here and lied to you and told you I am a huge sports fan, cause I am not. But even he will tell you that I am a fan, although when it comes to baseball I ONLY watch if and when the Yankees are playing, I don't even remember exactly where my infatuation with the team began but (at the risk of sounding like a band wagoner--which I'm not) The Yankees are and always have been my over all favorite team in Sports!

Of the 60-100 Fitteds I've owned throughout my life I estimate that 7 or 8 the most have been fitteds other than the Yankee Fitted.

Tonight my boys did it again: they won their 27th World Series Championship! Watching it took me back to the feeling I got on Nov. 4th 2008 when our new president Barack Obama won the election (can you believe its been a whole year today) Well anyway, yea. Seein the yankees Rush that field after the last out was amazing. I'm so proud to be a new Yorker, especially one from the Bronx, I'm so proud to be a wearer of The Blue and White yankee fitted and I'm so proud to be a Yankees fan. Shout outs to Hideki Matsui... that man was on fire...

Great Job fellas, see ya on Friday!
^Just a lil something to accompany my words^

Lol, I guess this post is literally a story from "Tha Bull Pen" lol

Biggest Business in America

Aight this one might be long cause I'm bout to black out!

I was looking for some deep quotes to open this post with, but I didn't find any worth my time. so allow me to make one up on the spot:

Urgh uhmmm:
Education is both the emancipation and entrapment of natural curiosity and imagination.
-Eno Bull-

and now some words from tonight's Sponsor:
Jay-Z: "I felt so inspired by what my teacher said, she said I'd either be dead or be a reefer head, I'm not sure if that's how adults should speak to kids"

Aight and now with our regularly scheduled program - so I've always said that I love to learn and that's the truth, but I swear to everything I love; I HATE school. Allow me to tell you why. Since I was a lad I saw not the need to wake up early every morning to go and be taught things I would never need in my real life by a person who felt the same way I did some 20 years prior. You see growing up I appreciated art class and I must admit history was kinda cool, but i couldn't understand for the life of me why it was important to know the square root of some odd shape the teacher just pulled out her ass. I mean be honest, when's the last time you were in your retail job and someone came and asked you: "Excuse me, my size is the square root of 134, do you by any chance have that size in stock?" or when was the last time someone asked you what the weight of the 6th element was?

Let's be honest at the end of the day a good education can't hurt, in fact it helps, but in this life at least in my opinion "it's not what you know, it's who you know"

While I was working at Sak's there was a young lady who did visuals. I happen to know that that young lady was/is making $20 an hour.... So you telling me I have to have a formal Ivy League education to change the clothes on a mannequin each day? Not likely... but whatever. It's all about money. Why do our parents tell us: "you have to go to school" I'll tell you why: cause soiety's order of things is as follows: Your born, you spend 3 years at home with mom and or babysitters, by the time your 4 your already in school despite the fact that you can barley hold your piss in the event of having to go potty, then your in school til your 21. So after those 17 years spent in a classroom what do you get? A F*&k'n piece of paper that tells your future employer that you went to school. Shit, are you serious? My word isn't enough? Of course it isn't, you see, the days of a man's word having merit no longer exist, it's all about paper. So me sayin "I went to such and such school and got my degree in whatever" doesn't matter without that sealed paper proof.

So being that it is that way why do I need school again? Only 20 percent of 2009 college grads who applied for a job graduated with one in hand. 20 Percent? Shit I'm better off picking up a mic and trying my luck at rappin. Which brings me to college. We're not even talking Ivy league schools I mean bumass CUNY's and SUNY's you mean to tell me I have to pay you x amount of dollars and then pay $400+ for thousand page books and I'm only gonna use one or two chapters? Come the eff on! WHAT FOR? WHY? See the way I see it is, if I have a plan and I know its gonna work out (by work out I mean pay me enough to live and survive) then why do I need that piece of paper? And don't waste your time asking those who have degrees they seem to have been brainwashed into believing that they NEEDED it.

This is also in no way shape or form an attempt, intentional or otherwise, to insult any and every person reading this who just so happened to take that road and got their degree. This is just my opinion. Be it blissful ignorance or truth this is just how I feel.

I could go on forever but I've said enough and have barely scratched the surface of my point, so I'll just leave the rest up to ya. As always feel free to comment.

Stay up and Stay Tuned.

It's Called "Being Humble"

What's goin on everybody? Today's topic is being written by the Goon in me
For those un familiar with the term, allow me:

Goon: (n) \ˈgün\ - 1: a stupid person 2: a man hired to terrorize or eliminate opponents 3: (Hood Use) One with no future outside of the world of the streets. One who prides himself in being a hooligan with little to no education and with dreams of someday living to see the tender age of 25! (I could go on forever but we'll leave it at that)

So, gettin started. Last December, 5 friends and myself embarked on a little road trip to our states capital, Albany, NY. Why? Glad you asked... you see, my friends and I being men (as much as I hate to admit it) often succumb to the temptations of the flesh. The reason I share that information is because the only reason we were on our way out to Albany was because we were promised a forbidden fruit. That fruit being white girls! Yea Cot Dammit I said it, whatchu gonna do? But yea, one of us who shall forever remain nameless happened to know a young lady who lived in Albany and she said she'd be hangin out with a few friends, so we figured we'd pick up some 'Future Preventers' accept her invitation to come visit and head out. I think we are all adults here, no need for me to go into details passed that point.

But moving on; upon arriving to Albany, after a long ass 2 or so hour trip we learn that the 'Party-like' environment we had traveled for was just 3 girls hangin out. meaning 3 guys would have been left with nothing to do but twirl their fingers and sit in the car. So what did we do? We decided we'd chill anyway and at least spend an evening in Albany for the experience. Shortly after hitting up a bar (where a few white boys politely offered to fight us) we came back and hung out at one of the young ladies house. This is where the night took a turn and where the whole purpose and title of this post begins to make sense.

After only a hour or so of knowing any of us (besides my friend who she knew prior) and 10 minutes after sitting in her room she asks me to get up from the seat I'm sitting in, when I do she lifts the cushion and picks up a sandwich bag wit what seemed to be approx. $2000 in cold hard cash. Now that alone made those of us who saw it think and raise one eyebrow, but it didn't end there. Immediately after, she went into her dresser drawers and got out a bag of Cocaine. You read that correctly, your eyes are not deceiving you, yes Coke! So at this point I'm thinkin she CANNOT be serious. But if you think it ended there, your wrong, she began to count her money in front of us and then when she was done she began to weigh her Coke in front of us. Her room mate's friend then came to the door and gave her some money in exchange for a hit. So it'S obvious she was/is a drug dealer. Now at this point one of my friends texts me and says: "Wtf is goin on in here? These bitches are wildin" I agreed and text'd back, he then text'd me: "Let's get outta here, but first lets rob these bitches." I read the text, looked him in his eyes and gave him the head nod of approval. Never had I been so ready to commit a crime like I was at that moment.

Allow me to explain why I was receiving those texts: You see my fellas and I are not rich, in fact we are almost the opposite, we are aspiring artist who someday will be in a better financial position than we are in now but until then we are still (what we in the hood call) hungry, meaning we are striving and aspiring, and still on a paper chase. So for this broad to "Stunt" (show off what she has and how she gets it) like that in front of us brought the wolves out of us! You see doing something like dangling fresh meat (pause) in front of a pack of Hungry wolves on the hunt is not a great idea, you can get hurt or even worse, you can get eaten right along with that meat.

So once the tension in the room began to rise and we began asking a few more questions the young lady put her money and her drugs away. We decided that the hiest would have been too messy due to last minute planning anyway. Plus lets be honest, not one of us wanted to get locked up in Albany, especially after a situation where its 3 white girls word over the words of 6 black men! So we go back to the car where we begin discussing the situation, wondering if we should run back in the house and slap the shit out of the people in it grab the money and go. But ultimately we decided to turn the car on and come back home.

Now here's my reason for posting this story (especially after so long) you see a few days ago the same thing happened minus the drugs.... another person decided that it was imperative to flash money around, but I won't get into that one. my whole thing is, if and when I have money, and someday when I'm rich, the last thing I want you to know is that I have any money. Even now I hate counting money in public. When did the people of the world forget to just be humble? I being a hungry wolf don't necessarily appreciate you flashing your money in my face, because as humble and as un-phased as I am about those thing; situations like that bring envy out of me and i don't like to feel that way. My boys and I are very complaisant but had we not been that night those girls might have not lived to see the sunrise over their beautiful suburban neighborhood. I say all this only to say this folks: be Humble. If you have money that's great, but there's someone out there with 10 times more money than you and they are not being etiquette-less bastards throwing it around just to be seen in a different light. So i guess that's it for now. later folks

JUST A TEST DRIVE BABE!

LATELY I'VE BEEN IN SITUATIONS WHERE ITS A GUYS VS. GIRLS TOPIC OF DISCUSSION TAKING PLACE: AMONG MANY OTHER THINGS THE TOPIC OF CHEATING COMES UP AND I PERSONALLY HAVE EVEN BEEN ASKED 'WHY DO MEN CHEAT?" WELL I PERSONALLY DON'T BECAUSE I FEEL IF I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND THEN SHE IS GOING TO FILL EACH AND EVERY VOID I FEEL NEEDS TO BE FILLED: SHE WILL BE MY GIRL, MY BOO, MY SLIDE, MY JUMPOFF, MY MISTRESS AND OTHER WOMAN ALL BALLED UP IN ONE. BUT FROM WHAT I KNOW BEING THE PROUD OWNER OF A PENIS, THE REASON MEN CHEAT IS AS FOLLOWS:
A MAN CHEATS ON HIS SIGNIFICANT OTHER BECAUSE HIS SIGNIFICANT OTHER IS NOTHING MORE THAN A SECURITY BLANKET, A SAFE HAVEN, A GUARANTEE THAT HE WILL HAVE SOMETHING TO COME HOME TO IN THE EVENT THAT HIS BOO, SLIDE, JUMPOFF, MISTRESS AND OR OTHER WOMAN IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME THE HE FEELS THEY WILL BE NEEDED. SO HIS GIRL IS JUST THE ONE HE LOVES BUT JUST SO HAPPENS TO KEEP AROUND AND IS IRREPLACEABLE UNLIKE THE OTHERS!

SO TO HELP FURTHER EXPLAIN THIS POINT I CAME UP WITH AN ANALOGY YESTERDAY AND IT GOES A LIL SOMETHING LIKE THIS:
A MAN DRIVES A HONDA AND HE IS CONTENT WITH IT, BUT SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY HE GETS OFFERS TO DRIVE A BENZ, A FERRARI, A LAMBORGHINI, OR EVEN A MASERATI, SO NATURALLY ANY MAN IN HIS RIGHT MIND IS NOT GONNA TURN DOWN THAT OFFER! IT WOULD BE CRAZY TO SAY: "A LAMBO, NAH IM GOOD, I GOT MY HONDA!" LMAO... SO YOU SEE HE'S GONNA TAKE THAT RIDE, BUT OF COURSE HE HAS TO GIVE THAT CAR BACK TO ITS RIGHTFUL OWNER SOMEDAY, SO WHEN THAT DAY COMES HE'S GONNA NEED TO STILL HAVE HIS HONDA BACK HOME IN HIS DRIVEWAY. DOES HE LOVE HIS HONDA ANY LESS NOW THAT HE'S DRIVEN ALL THESE OTHER EXOTIC CARS? NO, DOES HE LOOK AT HIS HONDA AND THINK "DAMN, YOU AINT NO MASERATI YOU OLD PIECE OF SHIT" WELL MAYBE... BUT NO LOL. SO YOU SEE AT THE END OF THE DAY HIM DRIVING ALL THOSE OTHER CARS WAS JUST AN EXPERIMENT, BUT GOOD OL FAITHFUL HONDA HAS BEEN THERE ALL ALONG AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE THERE THROUGH THICK AND THIN. AND WHAT THE HONDA DOESN'T KNOW WONT HURT IT!

GIVEN, SOME MEN WILL ALWAYS BE CONTENT WITH THAT HONDA AND WILL TURN DOWN THAT OFFER TO DRIVE THE FERRARI.... BUT LIKE I SAID "SOME MEN"

GET IT?
GOT IT?
WELL THEN GOOD COT DAMMIT!

STAY UP AND STAY TUNED FOLKS!

Pro-Life?

What's Good folks? Let's get right into this one (Pause) lol.

So as you may or may not know I am Pro-Life which means I don't believe in abortions unless its done due to certain circumstances. But as I've gotten older I've come to realize that I can't truly and fully say that I am pro-life until the moment I find myself in the situation where I have to make that choice comes.

So Allow me to take you back to where this topic is coming from. Yesterday afternoon my good friend said this to me after the topic of her son was brought up: "If he were yours I would have Aborted him." Now I know it sounds harsh but I respect it because aside from myself she is the only person who I know keeps it extremely honest each time she opens her mouth. Within reason of course, she doesn't just open her mouth just to hear the sound of her voice. Shout outs to you Love.
So naturally right after hearing that I said "Ouch you would have offed my Seed?" But after thinking about it more carefully I realized that her saying those words were a Gift and a Curse.

So 2 years ago the day where I would have had to make the decision to allow my child to have a life came. But that's the bullet that I dodged because the child in question wasn't mine, and so, on the day that my lil brother turned 16 years old the baby boy that would have been mine was born. Crazy right?

The Gift
So whenever I see pics of the lil man I smile. Smile because I'm happy he was given his God given chance to live, smile because I know he brings his mom happiness, but above all else I Smile because I don't nor did I ever have to worry: "Damn, how am I gonna feed my son? How am I gonna put clothes on his back, food on his high chair and how am I gonna pay his Doctors bills? And How am I gonna explain this to my mom?" I mean of course his mom would've provided for him like she does now, but I would of course had to bring half to the table. So that's the blessing!

The Curse
But of course the fact remains that had he been mine he would have been aborted and I would have never known the answers to my questions like: "Will my first born look like me? Will he realize that I'm gonna die trying to show him that I'm gonna be a better father than my father was? What would have my son made of his life?" I guess in the end there's not much use in asking "What if?" right?

But I would like to let ya know that despite all that was mentioned, don't look at my homegirl and think she is harsh or a bitch or anything like that. I still love her deeply and she was just looking at the situation in the most realistic matter possible. So again, Shout outs to you love.

As for Ya'll Lemme know how ya feel.

Eno's Infinite Playlist

Aight Folks, it's 5:04am, I admit I'm getting a little sleepy but I've got iTunes open and I'm just here zoning out. Now for all of you who follow the blog, by now you know who my first Love is right? That's right... Music!

But doesn't everyone say this? I figured that tonight instead of just telling you I'll explain why I love music so much. After a short version of my explanation I'll give you a few songs that I just heard on my playlist as we speak and give you a lil personal background with that song.

Why I love music so much, at least why I think I love it so much: Aside from me being a huge fan of art and music being a major worldwide form of art, and aside from appreciating the union of sounds and sound words I think I have such a deep and undying connection wit music because my father does.... yea I said it. As a kid I fought for his attention and got very little of it, so I guess somewhere along the line I figured that this could be something to bring us closer simply because it would be one thing we had in common other than DNA. Although slowly but shortly I began to love the sounds I was hearing for myself and not for any other reason or motive. So naturally I began to leave the music my father was listening to (still loved it) and began to research and find my own music. Now ages later I am way more than just a fan of many different genres of music. and I can still honestly say she is my first Love, and as tired as you probably are of hearing me say that I can never get tired of saying it.

On To my current Playlist:
(Around this time the Playlist is usually the same)

'Wait in Vain' - Bob Marley
Like many of the 4651 songs I have I can relate to Mr. Marley's words here. He's speaking to a young lady who he is trying to court and explaining to her that he is interested in her. He lets her know however that although the wait for her love in return (3 years) is no bother he would like for her to know that he is not Waiting in Vain. So pretty much he was saying "Look here baby, i like you and i want this to work, but if your just gonna toy with my emotions then let me know now so I can stop knocking on this door" Now why is it I can relate to all of that? That's a whole new blog post all together. lol.

'All on Me' - Sean Paul Ft. Tami Chynn
Aight now this one (puts a lil smirk on his face) takes me back to yesteryear. So peep game right, the year was 2006 and I was in Honduras for Easter vacation. It was amazing because I had been to Honduras many times before but this time in particular I had went with all my cousins (my closest friends) so it was dope! All we did was party literally each night and sleep all day each day lol. But one night at one of the festivals I had locked eyes with the most beautiful lil Red bone I had ever seen in my life (you know imma sucker for a Light Skinededed young lady) it wasn't long before I worked up the nerve to speak to her and find out more about her, we parted ways that night and I couldn't stop telling my boys about her. the next night at one of the many parties going on I just so happen to bump into her again, we were kinda quite but after we danced a little it was like we knew each other for year. 'All on Me' came on and I was hearing it for the first time ever. It immediately put both of us in a trance. We were so into it that it was as if no one else was on the dancefloor, staring deep into each others eyes like a gay ass romance movie or something lol. Before you know it we were (brace yourselves for the shock) making out on the Dancefloor as the song played! That's right me, Mr. 'I don't like to Kiss' himself lol. Well anyway, the post is not about her and honestly I can fog up your screen if I continue with the story lol. So this song will always have that place in my heart, it gave me memories and made 06 one of my best years!

'They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y)' - Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth
It's gotta be the Horns. As soon as this song starts I'm usually taken back to Circa 1992 -- a beautiful more simpler time in my life I was only 5 but I swear I remember hearing this song at the time, of course back then I had no idea what the song was speaking of but now that I'm older I see what it was about and although it's a sad subject I love it. So I guess like the title says I love this song because when it comes on I Reminisce!

'Iris' - Goo Goo Dolls
I don't remember the first time I heard this song, I don't remember what I was doing, I actually don't remember much of anything while it's playing. It's one of those songs that puts me into another world. I don't know what it was about John Rzeznik voice and lyrics in that song but I know that whenever it comes on I have to play it more than once. In fact even now writing about it to you I don't know what to really say to you. It must be the live instrumentation that does it for me... I don't know but this is a beautiful song.

'She Rockin That thing Like' - The Dream
Anyone who knows me can tell you I don't like The Dream's music, but being a fan of the art all together I have to and can admit when someone has got themselves a good one. Overall I would say the love for this song comes from clubbin. Of course I heard the songs a few times before ever hearing it in the club but I remember when I finally did hear it in the club everyone went ape shit! Til this day, this joint still gets the crowd goin. So like that night whenever I Hear 'Girl I'm in love with you baby, and I want you to know" leave the speakers I have to find me a young lady preferably with a fat backside to dub (grind, inappropriately dance on and behind) on! I know that sound extremely tasteless but it's the God honest truth! Don't ask me why but in the event of this song comin on and me not gettin some cheap feels from the grindin, then the night feels somewhat incomplete.

Well there's a whole bunch more but I'm sure I've entertained/bored you enough with these songs, maybe I'll do a part 2 sometime but for now this is what I have for you guys! Thanks for listening with me, if your anything like me you played the songs while you read the post to accompany the mini passage.

So with all that Said I will now go to sleep, believe it or not it is now 6am, this Post took me 54 minutes to type up. lol

Am I a Homophobe?

What's going on Bull Penners? I'm here today with a topic that would have been too in depth to type about (even for me) so I decided to video blog about it. So grab some pop corn and enjoy this 2 part video based around a topic that is touchy and controversial. I mean, is this not why you are here? Is this not what the Bull pen is all about?

Once again I would like to give you my disclaimer:
This video is speaking on Homo Sexuality so if you are weak minded, easily offended or otherwise weak in any possible way, the best thing for you to do would be click the 'x' at the top of your browser and come back another day.
Thanks, and now for our Feature Presentation!

Am I a Homophobe?

Am I a Homophobe? Con't (Part II)

I recorded it in two parts because the video was too high quality to upload to YouTube all in one....

Racism Still Alive?

I don't usually do this, but I've learned that part of making it to the Top (I have dreams of having the best blog of all time lol) is helping out others in the same struggle as you. So with that said I have not any words for you today, what I want to do is share the words of another with you!

My big Brotha Buddah who also has his own blog (follow Him) posted an entry that really picked my brain and made me think. Seeing as how that's what I strive to achieve with my readers, I want to share that with you!

So click here and enjoy! I'll be right back with some words of my own...

Black Robe and a Gavel

What's goin on Bull Penners? I know I been gone for a while, I know you've been missing me so imma just get right into this one... I promise its gonna be good!

"Said where I would stop before I even started when I get to one brick, then The Game I will depart with Got to one brick then I looked to the sky, said Sorry God, I lied, but give me one more try"
-Jay-Z - Fallin'

Aight, now that line speaks mostly of greed, but it coincides with what I'm about to talk to ya'll about...

"DON'T JUDGE THE DRUG DEALERS FOLKS... THEY KNOW WHY THEY DO WHAT THEY DO."
-Eno Bull - FaceBook status

Now you see my FaceBook (where I drop many Jewels -- I suggest you add me just search: Eno Bull) status messages usually generate a lot of attention, and this one was no different. Now, the reason I said this was because although I don't support or agree with drug dealers and what they do I can definitely understand the feeling of wanting and or needing more in a shorter period of time. I can most definitely understand feeling like there is no other way out, overall I just understand. On top of all this I (a young man with a legal job) often stand around at work thinking to myself: "Damn I'd rather be selling drugs" not because its been glorified in movies, music and other general industries, but because I know they work (labor wise) a lot less and get paid almost double what I make a week in a day! Lol, am I wrong for being real?

I'm not saying I'm going to do it but hey, we all have daydreams about things we think we cant do right? ;0) Now, as you can see I didn't specify why I said what I said, but it was instantly taken as something else, something much deeper, so I thought it would make for good blog material. So it quickly became a matter of in a way defending the Drug dealer and I guess I was but allow me to explain why.

See it was mentioned that the drug dealer is a "destroyer of homes, a taker of parents" etc. and yes I agree BUT, I personally feel, that you cannot blame the dealer without blaming the user... Disagree with me if you want, but I'm sure that 95% of the people who use and or abuse drugs are either adults or children old enough to know the difference between what is right and what is wrong. See I'm sure many have lost family or close friends to the evils of drugs, but were they forced to do those drugs at gun point? No. See, like it or not the drug dealer is no different than a business man, one who owns a clothing store, or a restaurant. He is there to provide a product, a service or a good(s). So the question becomes "How powerful is the Drug Dealer without the Drug user" you can even go as far as saying that the product (the drugs) are harmful to the user and can kill them, but hey, so can cigarettes and alcohol and you see that 'Newport' and 'Corona' are both not only still running smoothly but becoming more expensive with even more clientele each day, and no one says anything to them. Is it because their products are legal? Is this why the Drug Dealer gets a bad name? Well I say all that to say this: many things in life revolve around the idea of 'Supply and Demand' as long as there is a need for it, there will be a provider for it, be it illegal, legal, moral or immoral.

Things Changing!

Aight ya'll we're gonna open this one up with a video... Peep!

I know right? Buddy Mylez with a BlackBerry, who would have thought we'd see the day! First and foremost I want to give him one last birthday shout out, cause it just passed this pass week! My big brother just turned 26, and I'm sure ya remember the post just a short year ago entitled "Beating the Odds" where I mentioned he beat the statistic by being a black man in America turning 25.... But enough about his Birthday, visit our various YouTube videos ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VZYZgEuthk&NR=1 ) and you will see that this man was anti-BlackBerry ALLL the way. But just a few days ago he posted a picture on his FaceBook of a concealed package (Pause) that arrived to him that day. I Instantly knew that it was a Blackberry, don't ask me how I knew, I guess I just have a third eye for these things.

Now seeing as how he was (as he mentioned) the Advocate of the Anti-BlackBerry Movement, seeing him switch sides to the better end of the spectrum was a great look from my point of view.

But that's not all that has changed:
As you all know back in April I voiced out my opinions on Twitter and how I disagreed with what it stood for! Well like I would have said to Buddy Mylez prior to purchasing his BlackBerry "Don't Knock it til you've tried It." I did like Buddy did (who was also Anti-Twitter) and gave it a 24 hour chance.... and I can see why people are hooked to it and continue to hook to it like the Matrix! Yes I was against it, but I've realized that for an Over Opinionated person like myself, it's the perfect platform (second to my own blog) to express how you feel about certain things throughout the day.... but what really threw me over was the fact that it's a great place to network and get your name and business across to a different Demographic. Me, also being a Photographer it's important to keep up with the world of business and network with other who are in the same or even different fields.

So how about you follow me, I promise I won't lead you astray www.twitter.com/EnoBull

As far as breaking my "Anti-Twitter and Anti-BBM 5.0" Pact with Imani, I'm sorry and your apology Blog Post is up next lol.
So the moral of today's post folks is to give different things a try, don't go to extremes but "DON"T KNOCK IT TIL YOU'VE TRIED IT"

Bull for Mylez

What's going on ya'll, It's a lil before 12 so before the whole day is gone first and foremost lemme give a birthday shout out to my favorite Jamaican, my brother from another, my big homie Reg! he's 24 today. I luv you big bruh, don't let nothin stress you, we about to be so rich it's not even funny.

Now onto you folks! What's good?
So as you (should) know I have a partner in crime who goes by the name of Buddy Mylez. More often I call him my big brother but he is my cousin. He and I have always been close but these past few years have been the ones that have bonded us closer than we were before.

So about a year ago, we came up with an idea for a reality show. A show that follows the life of him and I. The concept of the show, in our opinion, would work very well because

Buddy: Is an aspiring artist and member of a three man Hip-Hop group named "BXL" and he also tries to juggle a life of work, family and friends outside of the music. He's also a comedian who always knows the right joke to pull out of his back pocket at any given moment. But of Course all pros have their cons, and That's where Eno comes in.

Eno: Is an aspiring fashion designer and photographer with dreams of being a household name in both fields. A down to Earth 'go with the flow' kinda guy who often has to play the personal assistant role to big cousin Buddy Mylez (who can be forgetful at times)

The Show is called 'Bull For Mylez' because while watching you will swear you are watching Bull crap for days (all while laughing of course) and because Eno often works for Mylez as far as being somewhat of an assistant and Side kick goes. Did that make sense? Well with all those ingredients you get a great show that will have you thinking: "What will they do next?"

Sadly to admit, Mylez and I have been sitting on this idea for about a year now, why? I guess it's because we've been running on false hope that someday soon VH1 or MTV will discover us and want to put us on TV with our own show... lol, yea right. So we decided, no more sitting around thinking and saying "We need our own show." Because with all due respect, he and I are cooler than any other duo you can name, on TV, in Music history, at your school or even on your block lol.

The show will also feature a supporting cast consisting of:
Severe Persy Jones
Joe Dirt
PBM (Reg)
Jazz
Devo
Killa Ken
Supa J
'The BXL SisterHood'
and who ever else gets caught in our lens

With all that said, I'd like to share with you some of our recent Youtube videos.

"BSPN Presents Eno Bull vs. Killa Ken"

^This Webisode Features 'Killa Ken'^

"KJ Dance"

^This one features 'Killa Ken' and Eno and Buddy's Nephew 'KJ'^

Hey, I'm a big Fan

Aight so this one has been a long time comin'. What's goin' on folks?

So lately a lot of different people have been coming up to me and telling me that they enjoy, read, have read, or like my blog. Like I told my homie Hadassa, it's both appreciated and quite refreshing. It's actually refreshing because so often I feel "Pfft, I'm just writing to vent, because I'm sure no one is reading" but those days are no more, because I see now that I have a following... So to all of you who read and follow or just stop by periodically, thank you. I can't thank you enough, and I greatly appreciate your time spent with me.

On that same note I wanted to share my admiration for others with you. So by now I'm sure you know I am an up and coming photographer and like in any other industry there are millions of people who do it/have done it way before me. So naturally I am a fan of those who came before me and have paved the way for me to do what I know have a deep passion for.

That's the purpose of this blog post:
I wanted to share with ya'll the Photographers who I look up to and who's work I admire. Some day I hope to be as good as all these guys:

Chris (CFK Photography):
My mentor and partner, I wanna thank you for taking me under the wing homie, I've learned a lot of things from you that I will continue to appreciate til the end of my journey in this game. I love being your assistant because I see what the game is about from both perspectives, both the outsider and the actual insider. Plus we just getting started baby! The 250+ Boys bout to take over this game as if it were stolen from us!
I want ya to check out Chris' work, It's amazing!
http://cfkphotography.com/

Poppa Purp:
Yo man, I remember when I met you back in late 07 you were just the cool skinny nigga at work who didn't say much. lol Well I never been one to judge a book by a cover, In fact unless its a picture book I don't even look at it! So I knew "that Skinny, quite nigga got a story to tell" and boy was I right! You did/do have a story brother, and its being told through the lens of that Beautiful Canon you carry around! MUCH RESPECT to you my nigga, you say you just a nigga with a camera and a golden eye, either way I'm a fan bruh.
Check out my man's page
http://poppapurp.blogspot.com/

Josh:
Another one who I didn't know took pictures, lol you already know brother, I saw you and I thought: "this man has to be a fashion designer of some sort, and he got wild bread too" lmao. But I guess Real recognize real and it wasn't long before I realized that those Black and white image on your site were all yours. You never stop amazing me bruh, keep doin it, you already a problem, I can only imagine what you can do with more time and effort.
Josh doesn't have a Photographer site that I am aware of but ya NEED to check out his blog
http://streetetiquette.com/

Rich:
Lemme tell you a story.... back in the break room at work where/when I was testing my new Sony Digi Cam you took the camera out of my hands and started messing with the settings. Once you were done you placed the camera where you wanted it for the angle of your shot and took a pic of your 'Waterproof Air Forces' (Sneakers for those of you who are not aware of the lingo). It wasn't a big deal to you, but seeing the angle, and the final shot I thought: "If he can do that with this camera, I'm sure I can too" now a little over a year later that slight inspiration has grown to a bigger passion for photography. Plus ya self portraits be ILLMATIC! lol

Boogie:
Who know's if your reading this lol, but here's the deal. on August 15th, 2008 while walking around Soho with Rich I walked into a clothing store that just so happened to have a table of books. Amongst all the books with colorful covers the one that stood out the most was the one with a black and white cover depicting what many would call the "Gang Life" with a few young men on of which was pointing at the camera with a gun. Instantly I knew I had to have this book of pictures which all told stories. I didn't have the money on me that day but you better believe after a year of looking for it afterwords I found it. I loved it because it was so out of the ordinary. Til this day I go through it in amazement and I continue to love yor work and your style of Photography. I sent you an email one time and you wrote back, being written back showed me you were humble and I both appreciated it and Respected it, For that I thank you.
To see Boogie's work go to his site

Last but not Least

Tone:
I've been a fan of your work literally before I knew it was your work lol. See I would always see pictures of Poppa Purp at Sway.... I remember always thinking: "Who is taking all of these amazing clear, vivid perfectly colored pics?" lol Not long after I started doing my research and was left speechless. From the portraits of artist who I like and events that I wish I had made it out to, you have been there to capture moments in time and to me it's no different than watchin Micheal Jordan take flight. Dead ass. Another man who I haven't met personally (it's just you and boogie who I don't know personally) but I sent you a text the other day and I appreciated the fact that you took the time to text me back.... I know your work as well as the work of all the aforementioned men will only continue to get better. So thank you for being one of the best who I look up to in this game.
Tone's site is
http://www.photobytone.com/

So I wanna thank all of ya. As competitive as this game is I just look at ya'll as big brothers here to make sure I take the right path and remember to keep my heart in it. I can't think of anything else to say but thanks lol

Everyone else, I'm sure your aware i rarely if ever link other people's site on my blog, so if I'm doin it you know its for a reason, so check their links out Now! lol

R.I.P Aaliyah

Baby Girl
Aaliyah

I just wanted to say a few words for Aaliyah. today marked 8 years since she passed. there's not much i can say that wasn't already said in my black history month post about her, just that I was a huge fan, and i loved her music. Til this day songs like '4 page letter' 'If your girl only Knew' still make get me, and I just feel she was gone too soon. Who knows where her career would be if she were still around. Well that's all I wanted to say.

R.I.P Baby Girl
you'll always be Missed.

The Calm before the Storm

What's good folks? I know I've been neglectful for the past couple of days, and I apologize to my followers for the slight drought. But as for my birthday and the past week, I will tell you: IT WAS DOPE! I gotta admit I expected a few people to flake but I was shown Love by 99% of the people invited. Even people that I didn't know showed up to support the kid. There's pics but I don't have any of em (I refused to take my camera) and I don't feel like copying and Pasting all the ones of me up on FaceBook lol.

But aside from that, my one year Blog Anniversary is coming up on the 24th! Needless to say I am excited, except I'm not sure what direction I wanna take the post in. So in the mean time I wanna leave ya with some deep words...

"Cannibalism is livin in my metabolism, givin em spasms and aneurysms at baby Baptisms!"

lol. 5 dollars to the first person to tell me where that quote is from. Folks it's obvious i'm saving the good for the anniversary. So please be patient and bare with me, I promise it's gonna be good.

MY BIRTHDAY!

Nah, it's not today, but it's comin soon!

^^Be There or be Rhombus Baby!^^

Whats good ya'll? I'm sure your not aware of this because up until now my birthday hasn't been nearby for you to know, but my Birthday is a HUGE deal to me! lol

Since I was a kid August 14Th has meant more to me than most if not all holidays of the year! The reason for that being that it's the day that marks the anniversary of you leaving another body and entering this world. To me that's amazing and is something I can't really express with words. Anyway, this year I haven't been going in like I usually do: Signs all over the house hinting that my birthday is coming, text blasts telling everyone that I don't want to see their face, all I want is money! (I don;t really mean this, but really I do, feel me?) and other bizarre things of that nature. I guess the reason for me not being as excited as past years is because I've already been 21 years old for 363 days. Lemme tell you, I'm TIRED of clubbin lol. But it's my birthday nonetheless and you better believe I'm taking it serious.

Something always happens on my birthday, whether it be that it rains (happens every year, I can set my clock by it) or there's a Black Out (happened on my 16th Birthday -- 2003, Google it) but I don't care, this year like all others my intention is to go Balls Deep!

For my 22nd, I plan on partying with all the ones I Love: my friends and OF COURSE without a doubt my Family! We're gonna be at the China Club on Friday night, and we going to 6 Flags the next morning. It's gonna be dope, add in a few factors that shall not be mentioned and you can rest assured my 22nd is gonna be bigger than my 21st, and my 21st was BIG!

So if your in the city that night, come through and party with us! I'm posting this now because I don't know how many pictures are gonna be taken throughout the duration of the weekend festivities (I don't think I'm carrying the camera) , and I know I'm gonna be wasted throughout the whole thing, so I probably won't be in the condition to post till maybe Wednesday.... lol

With that said, BE THERE!
Stay up and Stay Tuned Folks!
